Irma Mae Griffin History Room

The Irma Mae Griffin History Room in the Roxbury Library provides library patrons and visitors with opportunities to conduct genealogical and historical research.

Through a spring 2004 grant from the A. Lindsay and Olive B. O’Connor Foundation in Hobart, New York, the Irma Mae Griffin History Room has acquired state-of-the-art technology, including an IBM computer and printer, as well as a microfilm machine with printer capacity.

The Irma Mae Griffin History Room opens when the Roxbury Library opens at 10:00 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Irma Mae Griffin History Room hours always end 15 minutes before the Roxbury Library closes. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, the Irma Mae Griffin History Room remains open until 4:45 p.m. . On Saturdays, the Irma Mae Griffin History Room remains open until 1:45 p.m. .

Before entering the Irma Mae Griffin History Room, please visit the Roxbury Library front desk area to complete required paperwork.
