Irma Mae Griffin History Room
The Irma Mae Griffin History Room in the Roxbury Library provides library patrons and visitors with opportunities to conduct genealogical and historical research.
Through a spring 2004 grant from the A. Lindsay and Olive B. O’Connor Foundation in Hobart, New York, the Irma Mae Griffin History Room has acquired state-of-the-art technology, including an IBM computer and printer, as well as a microfilm machine with printer capacity.
The Irma Mae Griffin History Room opens when the Roxbury Library opens: at 10:00 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays; at 12:00 noon on Thursdays; and at 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays.
Irma Mae Griffin History Room hours always end 15 minutes before the Roxbury Library closes. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the Irma Mae Griffin History Room remains open until 3:45 p.m., on Thursdays until 4:45 p.m., and on Saturdays until 1:45 p.m. .
Before entering the Irma Mae Griffin History Room, please visit the Roxbury Library front desk area to complete required paperwork.
