Dear Roxbury and Neighboring Community Friends,

The Roxbury Library Association Board of Trustees, as well as the Roxbury Library Director and Assistant Director, would like to thank all library friends for past contributions to library operating expenses and for past renewals of library membership dues. We would also like to thank our dedicated core of invaluable library volunteers, who regularly and generously give of their talnet, time, and energy to the daily and special needs of the library. We are now cordially asking that you consider supporting the Roxbury Library in 2006.

The Roxbury Library Association provides Library Director Dian Seiler with a book acquisition budget of $1,500 for adult fiction and nonfiction per year and of $400 for juvenile fiction and nonfiction per year. From January 2005 through March 2006, the Roxbury Library Association spent $2,273.66 on recently published and widely acclaimed fiction and nonfiction titles for adults and children. The many fine donations of hardcovers and paperbacks from library patrons and other community members additionally enrich the Roxbury Library’s steadily growing collection. (more…)
