The Roxbury Library Association welcomes the public to attend an adult
book discussion group, held at the Roxbury Library, from January
through July 2009, with most meetings on the last Monday of every
month, unless otherwise indicated. All adult book discussion group
meetings start at 12:00 noon and end at 2:00 p.m.. Meeting dates and
books under discussion are as follows:
Monday, January 26 THE AUDACITY OF HOPE by Barack Obama;
Monday, February 23 MOUNTAINS BEYOND MOUNTAINS by Tracy Kidder;
Monday, March 23 GIVE ME LIBERTY by Naomi Wolf;
Monday, April 27 THE PERIODIC TABLE by Primo Levi;
Monday, May 18 THREE CUPS OF TEA by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver
Pelin;
Monday, June 29 THE WORLD WITHOUT US by Alan Weisman; and
Monday, July 27 GUNS, GERMS, AND STEEL by Jared Diamond.
The Roxbury Library Association offers the January-July 2009 adult
book discussion group to all participants free of charge.
