Columbus Day Weekend Sale and Silent Auction at the Roxbury Library

On Saturday, October 11, 2008, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., the Roxbury Library
Association Thrift Shoppe Staff will offer a special sale of quality, individually priced Thrift Shoppe merchandise, including household and decorative items, books, DVD’s, VHS tapes, clothing and footwear for all ages, toys, and puzzles.

Roxbury Library visitors may also take advantage of the RLA Thrift Shoppe’s ongoing fill-a-bag sale: $2 for a small plastic shopping bag or $4 for a large paper shopping bag.

RLA 2008 boy-and-girl crib ticket raffle tickets and Irma Mae Griffin’s HISTORY OF THE TOWN OF ROXBURY will also be available for purchase.

On October 11th, the Roxbury Library Association will additionally offer a silent auction of 3 collectible Ashton-Drake infant dolls (’Little Girl,” “Cute as a Button,” and “Snug as a Bug in a Rug”) in a white wicker basket, with a minimum bid of $300.00.

All proceeds from RLA Thrift Shoppe sales, quilt raffle ticket sales, history book sales, and the silent auction benefit the Roxbury Library.

The RLA Columbus Day Weekend Sale will take place at the Roxbury Library, located at 53742 State Highway 30, directly opposite the town’s United Methodist Church on Main Street.
