2005 ROXBURY LIBRARY ASSOCIATION HIGHLIGHTS

Library Director Dian Seiler

Library Director Dian Seiler has now completed the process of allocating and disbursing funds awarded to the Roxbury Library Association by an A. Lindsay and Olive B. O’Connor Foundation grant for 2005 library children’s programs and for building and grounds projects.

The “Summer and Fall in the Catskills” children’s program included poet Barry Seiler’s “Magic Farm” poetry workshop, Roxbury resident Joe Farleigh’s trout stream fishing presentation and fly tying demonstration, Hand in Hand Farm proprietor Nancy Haycock’s organic farming presentation, Roxbury Central School art teacher Amy Royal’s miniature barn building workshop, and Assistant Library Director Alice Iacovelli’s apple cider pressing presentation and demonstration.
